Position Summary:

We’re looking for an up and coming, rock star Jr. Video/Production Designer to join our team.

Early on, we realized that we want to own everything about our brand in-house. Our voice, our look, our feel. Some days we operate like a mini advertising studio. Other days are full of production work. And then there are days we get to look to the future and whiteboard inspired concepts and designs that will one day live “in the wild” at retailers as diverse as Sephora, Target and Walgreens. Your work here will be valued and will make it to retail.

Our new Jr. Video/Production Designer will partner with the creative team under direction from our Creative Director and CEO to ensure all artwork and visual strategy aligns to the brand’s vision and marketing objectives. We look forward to meeting you!


Key Functions/Requirements:

  • Create design executions for print, digital and event design
  • Build concept comps to support ideas
  • Concept development working collaboratively and independently
  • Apply and maintain brand standards/requirements
  • Develop collaborative working relationships with all team members
  • Produce and/or coordinate the preparation of electronic files and related production documents and ensure project timelines are met
  • Produce digital and print marketing materials including but not limited to social media collateral, brochure cards, large format signage, POP displays, digital product mockups, print packaging, print & digital advertisements, website imagery, tradeshow graphics
  • Shoot and edit videos for social media and e-commerce application
  • Design digital media (social media assets, emails, etc) for all screens
  • Navigate and maintain marketing archive: version control, file integrity, photography storage, final files archival
  • Maintain creative continuity by ensuring materials meet established brand standards
  • Contribute to team meetings and ideations
  • This Job Might Be Right for You If:

  • 1-2 years of agency or brand exposure (focus in beauty or skincare is a +
    • Understanding of grid system and when to break it
    • Excellent use of typography
    • Good sense of design composition and spacing. Not afraid of negative space.
  • Strong aesthetic sense; on the pulse of the relevant and current design trends
  • Passion for color theory; follows trends and knows how to steal Ideation across digital, print and social platforms
    • Collaborative without an ego
    • Familiarity and understanding of luxury skincare & beauty aesthetic
    • AA/BA or equivalent experience with emphasis in Art, Design, Video Editing
  • Writing skills are preferred
    • Proficient in Adobe CC
    • Versed in AfterEffects, Final Cut Pro, and other pro video editing software
    • Understanding of basic lighting for photography and video
